Application

Prep your natural nails and apply the nail tip with adhesive tab or glue:

  1. Use the cuticle stick to gently push back cuticles.
  2. Lightly buff the nail surface with the emery board to remove shine and improve adhesion.
  3. Wipe each nail with the alcohol pad to remove oils and residue.
Avoid touching your face, hair, or other surfaces after prep, as this can reintroduce oil and affect adhesion.
  4. a. Apply tips using adhesive tabs for short wear (1-3 days)
Choose a nail tab that fits your nail plate, remove the tab from its base film and adhere it directly to the natural nail. Rub thoroughly to avoid air bubbles.
    Remove the tab film
    b. Apply tips using nail glue for longer wear (7-14 days)
Apply a thin layer of glue to both your natural nail and a drop of glue to the center of the underside of the press-on.
  5. Align the press-on from the cuticle edge
  6. Press and hold firmly for at least 15 seconds.

Tips:
- Avoid water exposure for 1 hour after application.
- Adhesive tabs are idea for short-term wear for easy removal. Nails applied with glue are more difficult to remove in a short time and can result in damage to the nail if removal is forced.

Removal

Removal Using the MUSESSENTIALS Universal Nail & Cuticle Oil (Recommended)
Best results when removal oil is applied to nails that have already begun to lift.

  1. Insert the beveled edge of the cuticle stick between the edges of the nail tip to create a small gap.
  2. Apply a drop of oil and let it flow into the gap.
  3. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Reinsert the cuticle stick into the gap, gently push and swipe to loosen the nail. Do not use force. Repeat steps 1-3 as needed until the nail lifts comfortably.

You can lightly buff any remaining nail glue residue, or use the cuticle stick to remove adhesive tab residue, that may remain on the natural nail.

Bonus: The Universal Nail & Cuticle Oil is made with all-natural moisturizing ingredients. After removal, massage the remaining oil into your cuticles and nails for conditioning treatment.

Alternative: Soak-Off Method
If the glue is stubborn, soak nails in warm, soapy water for 5–10 minutes, then repeat steps 1–4.

Never pull or pop off press-ons as this can damage both your natural nails and the press-ons.

Aftercare

Your MUSESSENCE sets are designed for multiple wears with proper care.

For Adhesive Tabs

  • Residue will soften and slide off with Universal Nail & Cuticle Oil.
  • Wipe with a soft cloth to finish.
  • Store in the original double-layer case.

For Nail Glue

  • Massage the back of the tip with the Universal Nail & Cuticle Oil—light glue residue may lift.
  • For hardened glue, gently buff the inside of the tip until smooth.
  • Avoid over-buffing, as this can thin the tip.

During wear, it is normal for your nails to lose some moisture due to reduced airflow. Keep your natural nails healthy between wears by following the tips below.

  • Apply the Universal Nail & Cuticle Oil after removal to nourish nail plate and cuticles.
  • Use the Cuticle Balm daily to rehydrate the nail plate and cuticles. Reapply after handwashing. Application before bed improves absorption overnight.
